Rabat International Book Fair with NIMAR

Our books are on the road to the 30th Rabat International Book and Publishing Fair together with NIMAR!

Included in their vibrant display they will feature LUP’s publication Prophets, Poets and Scholars, The Collections of the Middle Eastern Library of Leiden University. A book which delves into topics of the #Ancient #NearEast to the material and conservational aspects of #Oriental #manuscripts, and the classical heritage of the Islamicate #MiddleEast in #Arabic, #Ottoman #Turkish and #Persian.

Edited by Arnoud Vrolijk, Kasper van Ommen, Karin Scheper and Tijmen Baarda this book was created with more than 40 authors from Leiden and beyond who have contributed to this special volume on the library’s rich and multifaceted Oriental holdings. Read more about the book here.
